According to Environment Canada, the Atikokan area recorded 157 mm of precipitation during
the month of April with 70.3 mm received since Wednesday, April 20th.
H2O Power advises all users to appropriate care, caution and re-consider use of activities along
the Seine River. Lake/River levels and flows are rising and may continue to rise rapidly. Minor
flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Users are advised to stay clear of fast-flowing rivers and
potentially unstable riverbanks during the high-streamflow period. H2O Power continues to
monitor conditions closely.
